Europa Super Premium Senior / Low Calorie provides your dog with a nutritionally balanced food specifically formulated for older and/or overweight dogs. The high fish meal tastes great and is an easily digestible and light source of protein, and is particularly helpful for those dogs who are in their older years or who tend to gain weight easily.
As the nutritional needs of an older or overweight dog are different to dogs in the other stages of their lives, Europa Super Premium Senior / Low Calorie has been formulated with and for the following:
- Weight Management – contains 15% less fat than our adult recipes and prevents your dog from putting on weight.
- Joint Repair and Mobility – contains glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin to support joint health and mobility.
- Beet Pulp – a superb source of soluble and insoluble dietary fibre which is important for maintaining normal intestinal transit time and stool motion.
- Immune System Maintenance – Europa contains specific vitamins and minerals to help bolster your ageing dog’s immune system.
- Healthy Skin and Coat – contains both Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids, along with Zinc and Biotin to help maintain a healthy, shiny coat and skin.
- Increased Fibre – this helps to keep your dog fuller for longer.
- Oral Care – our special size of kibble or biscuit helps to remove tartar and plaque, keeping your dog’s teeth clean and healthy.
- Hypoallergenic – a hypoallergenic food is one that only contains ingredients that are better suited to a dog’s natural digestive system and are designed to address a food allergy. An allergic reaction to one or more ingredients can cause itchy skin, hot spots, hair loss, upset stomach, diarrhoea and vomiting.

Changing to Europa Super Premium Dog Food:
By choosing to feed your dog on a Europa Super Premium dog food diet, you are making a positive statement regarding the health and vitality of your dog. When moving up to Europa from your dog’s previous food, it is very important that you introduce the food slowly to their diet.
We recommend this because a dog’s stomach can be sensitive to nutritional changes, often by way of looser stools. This is a very common, short term occurrence (i.e. up to 1 week) and you should neither be alarmed or concerned (if it occurs any longer than that we advise you to consult your local vet). As a consequence of the above, we recommend that you observe the following 6 day change over routine to assist your dog in moving up to a Europa Super Premium food:
Day 1 - 75% old food, 25% Europa
Day 2 - 75% old food, 25% Europa
Day 3 - 50% old food, 50% Europa
Day 4 - 25% old food, 75% Europa
Day 5 - 25% old food, 75% Europa
Day 6 - 100% Europa
